Abstract | Future climate projections made with high-resolution climate models carry the promise of bridging the gap between weather and climate scales, but the scientific and technical hurdles remain daunting. New simulations carried out on Frontera by a team of climate scientists and software engineers are yielding novel insights into how anthropogenic climate change will impact weather extremes at regional scales over the course of the twenty-first century. |
