CESM 1.3 Experiments

This high-resolution version is very similar to those of CESM1.1 and 1.2, but it incorporates some bug corrections, a few additional optimizations, etc. It is not a scientifically supported configuration. Details of the model and its differences from the earlier versions can be found in Small et al. (2014) and Meehl et al. (2019). The data sets from the simulations discussed in Small et al. (2014) are available from the Earth System Grid at http://www.earthsystemgrid.org/

Please contact Gokhan Danabasoglu [ gokhan@ucar.edu ] and Nan Rosenbloom [ nanr@ucar.edu ] to obtain a tagged (but unsupported) CESM1.3 high-resolution version. This version will be based on CESM1.3_beta17_hiresXX where XX will depend on needed functionality.
