The Community Climate System Model (CCSM) project has been developed under the National Science Foundation's (NSF) and the Department of Energy's (DOE) sponsorship at NCAR, with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as part of the U.S. Global Change Research Program. The project is coordinated by a CCSM Scientific Steering Committee consisting of both NCAR and non-NCAR scientists.
Over the last year, further development and improvements have been made in all CCSM components (atmosphere, ocean, land, sea ice, and coupler).
There will not be a CCSM script tutorial session this year at the workshop.
The 2003 CCSM Workshop is scheduled at the same conference center as last year, The Village at Breckenridge, in Breckenridge, Colorado. The workshop is open to anyone, but those interested in attending must complete the online registration form (see below). If travel funds are needed, you must submit your registration form no later than Friday, 4 April 2003. When completing the registration form, please indicate very specific details of your current work with CCSM or future plans. Lodging, per diem, and ground transportation are most commonly funded.
