2009 Workshop Announcement
NCAR's Climate and Global Dynamics Division is pleased to announce its 14th Annual CESM Workshop being held at The Village at Breckenridge in Breckenridge, Colorado from 15 - 18 June2009. This year's workshop will be a combination of plenary presentations and special interest presentations by the CESM working groups. We hope you'll join us this summer in Breckenridge.
Poster Session
There will be a poster session -- details to follow. Please be available at that time for comments and questions regarding your poster. Posters will be available for viewing for the remainder of the workshop. Posters must fit in a 4' x 4' space. You may mount your poster with push pins that will be provided. You will have an opportunity to enter your title and authors in the on-line registration.
Travel Assistance
We have a limited number of funds to assist those who would not otherwise be able to attend the workshop. This usually includes ground transportation and lodging. Please request travel assistance in the on-line registration by registering in Phase I. Those who have requested travel assistance will be notified of their status by the end of April.
Location
The town of Breckenridge has a lot to offer - a beautiful mountain setting, variety of restaurants, shopping, golf, hiking, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, kayaking, hot air balloon rides, and several spas, to name just some of the highlights. We think you'll enjoy your free time.
The workshop will be held at The Village at Breckenridge. The majority of our sessions will be held in the Liftside Inn Building. Final locations will be available on the agenda closer to meeting time.

Lodging
Most participants will fly into Denver International Airport on June 14th and fly out on June 18th. Ground transportation between DIA and the workshop site is available through Colorado Mountain Express; instructions for making reservations will be sent out following your on-line registration. Lodging will be provided by the Village at Breckenridge; instructions for making reservations for lodging will also be sent out following your on-line registration.
Participants who have requested travel assistance or whose travel is otherwise covered by CCSM should not make travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of your acceptance to the workshop by e-mail.
Cancellations
Please let us know asap about cancellations. Registration fees cannot be refunded after 15 May 2009.
Miscellaneous
We are not able to provide interpreters for international participants. Some participants may wish to bring their families along. We will do our best to accommodate these requests. Any special needs may also be indicated during the registration process.
